Recently, I ordered the 5th album of BTS called Arirang through the Weverse app, and I was really excited when it arrived. This was my first time ordering a sealed album.
In the past few months, I had been buying unsealed or second-hand albums because they were cheaper. Some of the albums I bought include SKUL LUV Affair, Proof Compact version, Young Forever Night version, and HYYH Part 1 and Part 2.
I have actually been an ARMY since 2013, back when I was still in elementary school. I first became a fan of EXO before discovering BTS. Over time, I leaned more toward BTS because of the deeper meanings in their songs, which often talk about perseverance and not giving up.
One example is Spring Day from the You Never Walk Alone album, which many interpret as a tribute to the Sewol Ferry Disaster. The song feels both comforting and emotional.
Around 2020, I became less updated due to getting COVID and being busy with school, but I still listened to their music casually. Now in 2026, with members like RM, V, Jimin, Jungkook, and Suga returning from military service in 2025, I felt excited again to support their comeback.
How to Order the Arirang Album
To order the album, you need to download the Weverse app, which is available on Android and iOS. After creating an account, follow BTS and navigate to the shop section where you can find their albums.
I ordered the complete four-version set, which includes the Rooted in Korea version, Rooted in Music version, Living Legend version, and the Weverse Album version. The total price was $59.95, excluding shipping fees.
If you are in the Philippines or using a different currency, you can switch the currency to Korean won in the app settings. This can sometimes result in slightly lower total costs for both the album and shipping.

Delivery Options
You can choose between UPS and DHL for shipping to the Philippines. DHL is significantly more expensive, but I saw several reviews online mentioning that some UPS deliveries arrived with damaged packaging. Because of this, it may be worth considering DHL if you want safer handling.
Payment Options
The app supports multiple payment methods, including debit or credit cards, Kakao Pay, Payco, N Pay, Toss, eXimbay, Alipay+ (for GCash), and WeChat Pay.
I personally used eXimbay with a credit card since it was the method I saw recommended in tutorials. It is still best to compare fees depending on your chosen payment method.
Weverse Album ver.

This is the smallest version of the album. It includes a track list card and nine photocards, including group photos.
I noticed that the photocards felt thinner compared to unofficial ones I had previously bought, which was surprising since this was my first official set.
Rooted in Korea ver.

- 1 Album magazine-style
- 1 CD
- Track list and lyrics
- 1 special paper print
- 7 selfie photocards
The album has a magazine-style format. I accidentally tore part of the envelope sticker while opening it, which was a bit disappointing.
Rooted in Music ver.
- 2 spring-bound photo books with messages
- 1 CD
- Track list and lyrics
- 7 film strips
- 7 selfie photocards
It has a long, calendar-style design similar to a sketchpad. This is my favorite in terms of design because the CD features all the members’ faces and has a lenticular effect where the image changes depending on the angle.
Living Legend ver.
- Album cover with messages

- Track list and lyrics
- 16 mini posters
- 1 poster
- 1 designed nylon band
- 7 selfie photocards
- 7 pop-out photocards
- 1 sticker sheet
This version includes one CD, album cover with messages, track list and lyrics, 16 mini posters, one poster, a nylon band, seven selfie photocards, seven pop-out photocards, and a sticker sheet.
This is my favorite overall version because of the number of inclusions, especially the mini posters and photocards.
I was hesitant to pop out the photocards from the sheet, so I decided to keep them intact until I get proper sleeves and protectors.
Final Thoughts
Unfortunately, I was not able to pre-order the album, so I missed out on the pre-order benefits, which included keychains and random photocards.
Overall, I really like this album. The design is clean and minimal on the outside, but colorful and detailed on the inside. It has a scrapbook-like feel and includes a lot of photocards and posters compared to other albums.
If you are a fan of BTS, this album is definitely worth considering.
